Simultaneous Degree Program
The Ed. S. Program in Change-Leadership in Education is also available to graduate students in all departments who want to earn a second degree at the same time they are working on their primary degree.
The Ed.S. program may be reduced to 21 credits by transferring a maximum of 9 credits from a student's home program. The transfer credits can only be applied to the supporting area of the Ed.S. curriculum, as listed in the Program of Study.
This program option is only available to students already accepted to and participating in other graduate programs on campus. If a student accepted into the simultaneous degree program decides to resign from his or her "home" program, then he or she may not continue in the simultaneous degree program. Resignation from the "home" program requires simultaneous resignation from our programs.
It is very important to know that this program does not result in students getting professional certification from a state department of education.
