Bob's Vlog: Gallaudet's Future

Dear Campus Community:
It is wonderful to see students, faculty, and staff back on campus. It's a great time to be at Gallaudet. On this week's "Bob's Vlog," I talk about Gallaudet's recent accomplishments and our plans for the future.
Our focus this year is on recruiting the best and brightest students to enroll in our academic programs. We also need to make sure we have the necessary classes and services available to students to ensure that they will continue with their education, graduate, and go on to get good jobs in the workforce. It's also time to take a long-range view of Gallaudet and, in light of changing demographics of the college-age population, a long-range view of the potential Gallaudet student body. What will the Gallaudet of 2020 be like and what can we do now to guarantee that Gallaudet will remain competitive and offer students the educational opportunities they will need to be successful? These are just a few of the issues facing us that we need to resolve.
