Matilda Bibb: I picked the School Summers Only program because I can live in California during the school year, come to Gallaudet for classes during the summer, then go back and continue with my job.

Jim Vigil: I selected the School Summers Only program because I think it's wonderful, especially with the addition of the cultural diversity certificate. Also, it allows me to keep my job year round and attend school in the summer. That was the main attraction of the program for me.

Cheryl Kaler: I picked the School Summers Only program because I already have a job. I'm very rooted in my job and family. I have three school-age children and the Summers Only option is a perfect match for our schedules. I can keep my job and the children can stay in school; then during the summer I can take advantage of coming here to Gallaudet for my studies.

Lisa Gomme: I work full time and can't afford to take time off from work for two to three years. Plus, I'm married. We couldn't afford that time. The School Summers Only program gives me the opportunity to work and still have a commitment to school in a disciplined and structured environment.
