SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Pick is an Associate Professor in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at Gallaudet University. His research program has focused on the neural mechanisms underlying emotion and language processes in adult populations. Current projects examine the neuropsychological functioning of youth with hearing loss, cognitive processing capacity, and the healthcare experiences of Deaf adults. As a practitioner, Dr. Pick provides assessment, cognitive remediation, and psychotherapy to Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and deafblind individuals and their families.
