Q. How do I find out whether all of my application materials have been received? A. When your application is received, the Graduate Admissions Office will send you an email listing the materials which are still needed (if any). After you have made arrangements to submit those missing materials, you can contact the Graduate School via email to learn which of the materials have been received here. Until your application is complete, it is held in the Graduate Admissions Office and is not seen by the faculty in the department/program you applied to. It is up to you to follow-up with your college Registrar's Office for transcripts, the people who are writing your letters of recommendation, etc., to make sure materials are submitted in a timely manner. Q. How do I find out whether an admission decision has been made yet? A. After Graduate Admissions has informed you that your application is complete and has been forwarded to the program's faculty for review, please contact the staff in the program to which you have applied. They can give you information about when the program's Admissions Committee will be meeting next and when you should be receiving notification about your application. |
