Homecoming

On this one weekend in the fall the spotlight is on the Alumni as they pour onto campus to celebrate their school spirit. The weekend hosts a myriad of events including :

• Anniversary Class Reunions - a chance for classmates to reconnect in a weekend full of camaraderie and memories.
• The Emeriti Club annual induction ceremony to welcome new members who attended Gallaudet 50+ years ago. Inductees are given special Gallaudet medallions.
• Pep Rallies to rev up that old school spirit.
• Pre-game Bash for alumni to relax & socialize the night before Saturday's events.
• Class Parade just before the football game.
• Special Interest Group Activities for various groups such as Young Alumni or Alumni of Color.
• Sporting Events
• Open Houses - tour the recent additions to campus as well as the President's Residence and Ole Jim.
• College Bowl where the 25^th and 50^th anniversary classes compete with Gallaudet's College Bowl team using brains & wits.
• A retired and favorite professor is chosen by the 25^th anniversary class to come back and give a talk on Friday afternoon.

Friday
GUAA Board meeting, Alumni Emeriti Club Induction Ceremony (honoring alumni of 50+ years), reunion events, campus tours, art exhibits, "Friday with Professor" presentation and other presentations, College Bowl Challenge (current team takes on 25^th and 50^th anniversary classes), pep rally, pre-game bash.

Saturday
Reunion events, class photos, class parade, sports games, booths.

Sunday
Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Brunch
