Depiction Research Lab
The Depiction Research Lab, housed within the Department of Linguistics at Gallaudet University, investigates issues pertaining to ways signed language users iconically depict events, settings, and objects. Depiction employs one or more elements within the signer's conception of the immediate environment, which include space, the signer's body, and temporality.
