Dean’s Merit-Based Scholarship Award

Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet, accepted into the Honors Program, and who accept the offer of participation in the Honors Program.

1. One half (1/2) of the cost of tuition per year for a total of 4 years and $4000 annually toward Room & Board for 4 years (fees not included)

2. Students pay fees themselves

3. GPA and related requirements must be met each semester to continue award

1. Minimum cumulative high school GPA: 2.5 (on 4.0 scale)

2. ACT Scores between 19-21 in both Reading and English or SAT Scores between 900-1010 in both Critical Reading and Mathematics

3. Acceptance of Offer of Admissions into the Honors Program is required

1. Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet but not admitted to the Honors Program

2. Deaf or hard of hearing students accepted to Gallaudet and admitted to the Honors Program but who declined the offer to be in the Honors Program
