Presidential Transition Advisory Committee

On August 25, 2009 the Gallaudet Board of Trustees announced the formation of a Presidential Transition Advisory Committee that would be made up of campus community members representing the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, administration, Clerc Center, graduate students, undergraduate students and alumni. The advisory committee will begin meeting prior to the expected announcement of the next president of Gallaudet University and will be ready to greet the new president when the announcement is made.

The committee has three main goals:

• Orient the new president to campus efficiently
• Generate support for the new president among all stakeholders, through a sense of participation
• Ensure an orderly beginning for the new administration

On September 26, 2009 the Gallaudet Board of Trustees announced the members of the Presidential Transition Advisory Committee (PTAC).
