MAKING CONNECTIONS: NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT AND APPLICATIONS WITH INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING

November 14-15, 2008
Gallaudet University
Online Registration is available. Click here: www.regonline.com/63346_624510M

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the first annual “Making Connections: Neuropsychological Assessment and Applications with Individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing” conference website. Hosted by the Gallaudet University Department of Psychology, the conference is created for the purpose of bringing together professionals in the field of deafness and psychology already trained or have a developing interest in neuropsychological assessment and interventions. Researchers in the (hearing) field continue to identify neuropsychological bases for behavior; thus, psychological service providers serving individuals who are D/deaf and hard of hearing have long understood the importance of recognizing this and the conference will provide a conduit for disseminating and sharing state-of-the-art information, research, assessment practices, and intervention strategies relevant to the population.

We invite you to join us at the conference and look forward to seeing you in November!
