Summer Communication Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children

General Information
We offer services to both the Gallaudet community and to the DC/Maryland/Virginia communities.Services include:
 
Although we are in the process of obtaining it, we currently do not accept 3rd party payment (Medicare, Medicaid, 3rd party health insurance). We will provide you with all the information needed to submit your bill to your health care provider for reimbursement. The Gallaudet University Hearing and Speech Center (HSC) is an equal opportunity provider.
We strive for open communication access for all clients and attempt to make the best match between clients and service providers based on communication needs.
Walk-In Schedule
Referrals
Individuals may make appointments for themselves or be referred by others.

Missed Appointments (Effective 3/10/09)
If you cannot keep your appointment and fail to notify us by phone or email at least 24hrs in advance there will be a $20 rescheduling fee.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
CASH (sorry, we cannot accept anything larger than a $20), CHECK, VISA/MASTERCARD.
Complimentary Services
During Fall 2009 semester, select complimentary services will be provided for:
spouse/domestic partner of employees/students
child/dependent of employees/students
parents of employees/students
During Fall 2009 semester, select complimentary services WILL NOT be provided for:
siblings of employee/students
in-laws of employees/students
grandparents of employee/students
grad-children of employee/students
aunts/ uncles of employee/students
cousins of employee/students
As the Center refines what their services are and how they will be offered, this policy may change.
